My Favorite Beauty Products of 2014

As the end of 2014 is swiftly approaching, I can't help but reflect on all the wonderful beauty products I fell in love with this year. Customers often ask me what products I love and when that happens, I often get flustered in my answer because it's hard to pick just one or two favorites. Even now it's a toss-up between many products, but because I love lists, I give you a list of my 2014 favorites.

Favorite Face Mask: Dr. Perricone's Chloro Plasma
Nothing makes me happier than my weekly facial ritual of wearing a mask. For a long time, I loved any mask I was able to peel off. It gave me a sense of satisfaction, as if I was getting rid of all this gunk. Surprisingly enough, my favorite face mask does not peel. Dr. Perricone's Chloro Plasma exceeded all my expectations this year. It smells like a day at the spa, does not dry my face and leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and sensationally smooth.

Favorite Sunscreen: CoTZ
What's better than a non-chemical sunscreen? How about a sunscreen that protects your beautiful skin AND makes an amazing primer before foundation? Anything that makes my skin look impeccable is always a winner in my book. The tinted formula makes my skin look smooth and even, which is perfect for a day of errands.

Favorite Hand Cream: Ahava's Dermud Hand Cream:
Handling money with cash transactions makes me constantly feel the need to wash and sanitize my hands, so they can get pretty dry and irritated. Ahava's Dermud Hand cream is so healing on my skin that my hands feel instantly soothed and soft after just one application.

Favorite Hair Mask: Colorproof Deep Quench Mask
In case you might have missed it in earlier blog posts, I absolutely love Colorproof's Deep Quench hair mask. Any chance I get to recommend it, I will. This mask leaves my hair looking exceptionally shiny, soft and healthier without weighing it down or making it feel coated or greasy.

Favorite Lipstick: Too Faced's La Creme Lipstick in Naughty Nude
I never leave my house without my lipstick and that's because Too Faced's creamy formula is moisturizing and Naughty Nude is one of those fantastic shades that doesn't require a lipliner. I also love that Too Faced's lipsticks don't have that waxy flavor.

Favorite Smoothing Shampoo: Ava Smoothing Shampoo
Whenever I opt to straighten out my wavy locks, my first step is always Ava Smoothing Shampoo. I've never liked super flat hair, so I like that it helps eliminate the frizz in my hair without weighing it completely down. I also love that this shampoo has additional ingredients that help keep my scalp healthy and clean.

Favorite Nail Polish: Essie's Mademoiselle
Every girl needs a polish in their collection for a quick, no fuss makeover. Mademoiselle is the perfect chic pink shade for every occasion.

Favorite Mascara: Too Faced's Better Than Sex
I'm probably in the minority when I say I didn't instantly fall in love with this mascara. It turns out I just wasn't using it the right way for my lashes. After a few failed attempts, I finally found a way to layer this mascara on in a way that made my lashes look amazing. I hardly wear false lashes, so I'm grateful for this magical tube!
