Beauty Treatments You Can Do On Your Next Flight

Traveling is never a breeze. Between driving to the airport,  waiting in line for security and then again to board your flight, the process can leave you feeling kind of wiped out before you even get in your seat. Once you're seated and buckled in, the debate begins. Do you read? Watch a movie? Try to sleep through the cries or coughs that are inevitable with almost every flight? If you've never considered doing a beauty treatment in flight, it might be something to consider for your next trip. After all, traveling is tough enough without having to look exhausted when you arrive to your destination. The next time you're planning to fly, try some of these in flight beauty tips.

1. Give your skin a waterless facial: I don't know about you, but I try to minimize my time in airplane restrooms. If your skin always feels yucky when you fly, make sure to pack face cleansing wipes in your carry-on to quickly wipe away germs and refresh your skin. Apply a mask sheet (we love Tony Moly's mask sheets) for a 20-30 minute facial treatment that doesn't require rinsing. Your skin will feel fresh and you won't have to worry about taking up too much space in your carry on bag.

Why You Need to Try Multi-Masking

Finding the right balance in your skincare regimen can sometimes be challenging. Many of us struggle with different problem areas that we're working to improve. For instance, I'm always looking for products that will help brighten my hyperpigmentation and control my oil. At the same time, I have patches on my skin that get dry and flaking during this time of the year. If you're in the same kind of boat and are looking for an effective solution for your skin's woes, then you have to try multi-masking.

Multi-masking isn't anything totally new, but it's been buzzing all over social media lately. When you pay for professional facials, oftentimes, estheticians will customize a facial depending on your skin's needs. With some caution, you can now customize your own facials from home, as well. As with any beauty trend, it's important to remember that what works for someone else may not really work for you. Before you open up your cabinet and start applying any mask you already have, I suggest you take a look at the ingredients in your masks to make sure they are all compatible. One way you can avoid this is trying different masks from the same skincare line.

We’ve all been there.  Maybe you did it last weekend—either way, if you don’t do something about it, it can turn into a big problem.  Ugh, sleeping in your makeup  seems like a good idea at the time—but do it too often and your skin is going to start to resemble the surface of the moon.  When we’re at rest, our skin is actually up all night working hard to repair the damage we’ve caused it during the day, and it has a way tough time doing that when there’s a layer of dirt, oil, & makeup.  Hey, it’s ok—just follow the steps to undoing the damage and get your skin back to glowing!
